The Events Calendar

Turn The Events Calendar into an app

Your calendar as a native screen: upcoming and past events as a list or a month view, each opening a full event page with the venue on a map. With Event Tickets, members RSVP, and the people who manage events create them from the app.

Reads the The Events Calendar you already run. Nothing to migrate.

Free while in beta. No credit card needed.

The Events Calendar as a list, with search, category chips and a Create button

In the app

What The Events Calendar becomes

Native screens, drawn by the app from your site’s data, that you place on the bottom bar, the top bar or the side drawer.

Events

A list or a month calendar, with search and category chips, and a Create button for the people who manage events.

Event pages and RSVP

One event in full: when and where, the venue on a map, who is organizing it and who is coming, add-to-calendar links, and an RSVP where Event Tickets is active.

Create events

Create or edit an event with venue address search and an RSVP, and post it to your community feed. Contributors submit for review; authors, editors and administrators publish.

My events

The events a member said they are going to, and the ones they created, upcoming or past.

Extensions

With the The Events Calendar extensions you run

Each one is offered in the builder once it is active on your site, and stays hidden when it is not, so you never ship an empty screen.

  • Event Tickets

    Events

RSVP on any event with tickets switched on: members say they are going or not, find their events in one place, and organizers see who is coming.

Getting started

From your site to your phone

Nothing on your The Events Calendar setup changes, and members sign in with the accounts they already have.

  1. Step 1

    Install the Memberside plugin

On your WordPress site, beside The Events Calendar. It reads your plugins for the app and adds nothing to your pages.
  2. Step 2

    Place the screens

Start from a starting layout or drag The Events Calendar’s screens onto the navigation yourself, and see them in the live preview.
  3. Step 3

    Build and try it

Put the build on your own phone, then ship it from your own Apple and Google accounts.

Questions

The Events Calendar in the app

Only for RSVPs. Without it, events show in full with no RSVP control.

No. That is a different plugin with its own Events screen. This page is about The Events Calendar.

Often run alongside

The Events Calendar is a trademark of its owner. Memberside is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to its maker; the name is used only to say which plugin the app reads.
