Built the way you would build it
Not a picture of your design: screens made of the same features, forms and blocks you would use in the builder, so you can keep editing them there.
Auto layout stays auto layout
Each auto-layout frame becomes a section with its direction, gap, padding and alignment, so screens reflow on every phone the way they do in Figma.
Sign-in becomes a real sign-in
A sign-in or sign-up screen gets the working WordPress form, shown only to signed-out visitors, styled with your design’s fields.
Forms save to your site
Any other form is matched to an ACF field group on your site, so what members type is saved there.
Colours become your theme
Your buttons’ colour becomes the app’s Primary, and colours that match your theme follow it, in light and dark.
Icons stay sharp
Vector icons are rebuilt from their paths and tinted like the rest of the app, not pasted in as pictures.
Honest about the rest
A rotated or blurred layer becomes a picture of itself, and the draft says which and why, so nothing is silently dropped.
After the import
Refine it with AI, keep Figma in step
Change the draft in plain words, let your own AI app do the building, and copy what changed in the app back into the design file.
Let the Assistant design it
Hand it your Figma file and it builds the app from Memberside’s features — your directory screen becomes the real member directory, styled like your design. Then ask for changes in plain words; each is listed and can be undone.
Or bring your own AI
On Pro and Unlimited, connect Claude or another AI app to Memberside. With Figma’s own connector beside it, it reads your design and builds the draft from Memberside’s features and blocks.

Figma import FAQ
It is the closest your app can draw, built from Memberside’s own features, forms and blocks — which is what lets it reflow on every phone, follow dark mode and keep working when your site changes. Where your design draws something a Memberside feature already does, such as a member directory or a sign-in form, you get the real feature.
No. Any Figma account that can open the file can import it. Figma limits how often a free seat can render pictures, so on a free seat the pictures of your design may run out first; screens, layout, text, colours and icons still come through.
Import the file again: you get a new draft to review against the app. The Figma plugin works the other way round, copying what changed in Memberside into Figma, so designers and builders can each keep working where they are.
On the Pro and Unlimited plans, any AI app that connects to remote MCP servers with sign-in, such as Claude, Claude Code or Cursor. You choose which of your apps it can reach, and you can disconnect it at any time from your account.
Each message to the Assistant uses one AI edit, and your plan includes AI edits every month. The Assistant shows how many you have left, and a message that fails does not use one.
Nothing. Members keep using the app as it is. When you apply, Memberside shows exactly what will change first, and if the app was edited since the draft was taken it says so before anything is replaced.
