Advanced Custom Fields
Advanced Custom Fields in your own native app
Your ACF fields where members fill them in: on registration, and on screens you design on the canvas, where a field group becomes a form that saves entries, a searchable directory of those entries, and a page for each one.
Reads the Advanced Custom Fields you already run. Nothing to migrate.
Free while in beta. No credit card needed.
In the app
What Advanced Custom Fields becomes
Native screens, drawn by the app from your site’s data, that you place on the bottom bar, the top bar or the side drawer.
Fields on registration
Collect an ACF field group when members register against WordPress itself, without an Ultimate Member form.
Entry forms
The Entry Form block shows one field group as a form and saves it, for anything your site already models, such as a listings post type.
Entry lists and pages
The Entry List block is a searchable directory of entries, as a list or a grid, filtered by your ACF fields. Entry Field blocks build each entry’s detail page from the values you choose.
Getting started
From your site to your phone
Nothing on your Advanced Custom Fields setup changes, and members sign in with the accounts they already have.
- Step 1Step 1
Install the Memberside plugin
On your WordPress site, beside Advanced Custom Fields. It reads your plugins for the app and adds nothing to your pages. - Step 2Step 2
Place the screens
Start from a starting layout or drag Advanced Custom Fields’s screens onto the navigation yourself, and see them in the live preview. - Step 3Step 3
Build and try it
Put the build on your own phone, then ship it from your own Apple and Google accounts.
Questions
Advanced Custom Fields in the app
An Entry List has a search box and any filters you add. Each filter names one ACF field and draws a text box, a dropdown of that field’s choices, or a pair of number boxes for a range, and more entries load as the member scrolls.
Yes. An Entry Form writes to your WordPress site, either to a post type you choose or to the member themselves, with its ACF fields, so the entries are the same ones your website shows. It can add new entries or edit the one on screen.
Often run alongside
Advanced Custom Fields is a trademark of its owner. Memberside is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to its maker; the name is used only to say which plugin the app reads.
